This young lady went to Englan for a year, and she has the coolest accent! and the guy giving his back to the camera, is the only Iraqi exchange student in all of Japan, he is here continuing his study of medicine, he is also the first exchange student from Iraq since 1990! He's here with his wife and two kids, (he showed me pictures they are way cute!) he came one year before Bush invaded Iraq, and one more thing he is part of the 3 to 5% of Iraqis that are Christian! What are the odds! Catholic to be precise, I was a little confused before the meal, because the exchange student from Syria, and the students from India, couldn't eat until sundown, but then he explained to me that he wasn't Muslim, well basically, heck of a nice guy, and very very interesting.
